I get so many event invitations on Facebook. I RSVP for so many events on Facebook. I almost always forget to attend events that I RSVP for via Facebook.
However, lately my beloved Facebook *chuckles here* has been making changes to many of the features around the site. Some are accepted with open arms and others….well not so welcoming. Last week I was wasting time on checking out the Facebook event page and decided to click on the buttons. Well, on the upper right corner, there is a button that looks like a snowflake. To my surprise, I found that I can export my Facebook events directly to my calendar.
Now that’s what I’m talking about Facebook. They have been holding out on me. I also noticed that the export option is also on the lower left side of the event page too. I think I’ve overlooked it. Whatever the case, I love it!
You can save to calendar or send to email. The save to calendar option sends it to Outlook. I send mine to email and then save event to Google calendar.
In the past I had my Facebook calendar synced to my cell but I got paranoid about them possibly having access to my contacts and other data. So this is a great option for me.

I didn’t know this, will come in very handy.
I wasn’t aware of this feature but I always need a reminder before an event or appointment. I usually set up an alert in my phone!
