Now that my mom is gone I have faced a grim reality that if I become sick I won’t have anyone to lean on. This is scary to think about but it pushes me to live a healthier life. If you’ve been following my blog then you know that I’ve been sharing my journey to a healthier with you all. My goal is to incorporate healthier habits in my life and break the old ones. I want to create some new norms, healthy norms.
My next great adventure on my road to healthy is incorporating a yeast free diet for four weeks in October to November. I think I have a yeast overgrowth in my body from taking antibiotics for regular sinus and ear infections and eating large amounts of sugary and processed foods. However before I begin the yeast diet I have to build my immune system and get my liver prepared for the major detox that take place. I found it fitting that the opportunity to review Provella came during my planning process.
Provella is a probiotic dietary supplement designed for women to promote digestive, feminine and immune health. It is used to restore the good bacteria needed for dietary and feminine health. Oftentimes, the use of antibiotics, changes in hormone levels and dietary changes can cause bad bacteria to outweigh the good bacteria. Thanks to my sinus and allergies I can relate to this and I won’t even talk about these imbalanced hormones…
Provella is a tablet that is taken by mouth once a day. The pill is fairly small and washes down easily without a yucky aftertaste. They are also designed specifically for women. As a woman, I know that our needs are very unique and different from men. I’m glad that they took the time to design a product just to fit my needs, however men can take them if they need to balance digestive health.
Since I’ve started taking Provella, I’ve noticed that my tummy hasn’t been as icky feeling like in the past. It has become a part of my daily regimen and I have to pick up some this week. Thanks to the $6 off coupon that you can print here you can save big time when you try them. You can also order them from Drugstore.com.
Now I don’t want to act like Provella is working miracles but to know me is to know that my stomach is horrible. I’ve had digestive issues since I was a little girl and they only grew worse into adulthood. I won’t even talk about my IBS and regular bouts of nausea. However, since taking Provella I’ve been able to eat a fried egg. Seriously, in the past eggs would make me gag from the smell. As you can see I enjoyed a fried one (with farm fresh strawberry preserves). Woot!
