Books have been the one constant thing in my life. I’m not sure how my love for reading began but I remember it always being there. As a kid I would sit down with books and read them over and over again, and as I aged my love for books remained. As a kid, I only hated that we didn’t live closer to the library. There is just something about the written word that draws me in. I will spend all my money on books if I could. Luckily I don’t have to spend all my money on books, anymore a special thanks goes to the literary angels watching over me.
In 2009 when I first began blogging, I only posted book reviews. I would read books and share my little old opinion about them with my nonexistent readers…that is until people starting reading my reviews and commenting. Just imagine how I felt when a publisher in New York City reached out to me and asked if I would review a book. Just say, I thought I was Hollywood, on and popping. This luxury has led me stock two bookshelves and I’m in need of a third. But don’t get it twisted honey boo boo, I’m not complaining. I love my books.
I am looking forward to bring new and improved book reviews in January. I’m finally getting my groove back since I took a hiatus from reading last year with everything going on. All the changes in my life had me to a point where I just couldn’t concentrate. Yes, this is from a girl who hates to be interrupted while reading a good book. Give me a book, a cup of coffee and a quiet space and I’m satisfied.

I love a good book too! Look forward to your reviews!
I love reading and am not picky, so long as a book can keep my interest. I just wish I had more time to enjoy one!
